With the emergence of these smartphones, it is possible to download apps that allow you to take your blogging to a whole new level.
Not only will these apps make your blogging life more productive, but it means that now you can become a “mobile blogger” and blog from anywhere. You no longer need to be strapped to your desk 24/7, now dust off your Speedos and go blogging at the beach!
I’ve listed the 5 best blogging apps for iPhone and iPad that I personally use, I’m sure you’ll find them useful when blogging on the go as well.
The essential iPhone and iPad applications for the mobile blogger
1. Blogsy:
Blogsy has to be the ultimate mobile blogging app, it’s not free but well worth the investment, it’s currently priced at $ 4.99 on the Apple App Store.
Blogsy supports all major blogging platforms including: Blogger, WordPress, TypePad, Drupal, Tumblr, Joomla and more!
Using Blogsy gives you the flexibility to write and publish your blog posts entirely, and comes with more features than you are likely to find on your blogging platform.
2. HootSuite
Hootsuite is awesome! It lets you manage all your Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Foursquare accounts in one app. The ability to interact with all your social networks in one place makes this app a must have for any mobile blogger.

Hootsuite comes with some features once you use it, you will wonder how you ever got along without it. The good news? It’s free, so you have no excuse not to try it.
3. Evernote
I previously wrote about Evernote in my blog post “Blogging Toolbox: Top 10 Blogging Tools I Can’t Live Without”. It’s a great app to use on your home PC or as a mobile app when you’re away from your desk.
The reason this app is so great is that when you are on the go it gives you the option to take notes, voice recordings and web clippings, so wherever you are you can work and search for your next item of blog, oh I almost forgot it’s free!
4. JustCloud
JustCloud is a lot like Dropbox, you’ve all heard of Dropbox, right? Having used both programs, I always seem to come back to JustCloud when I’m mobile.
Don’t get me wrong, I still use Dropbox, but for my mobile needs JustCloud is the winner for me and it’s the best price … free.
JustCloud lets you access and save your files on the go and they currently offer unlimited cloud storage.
5. Analytics Pro
Have you ever wanted to access your Google Analytics on the go or away from your office? (I know for me it’s a daily routine) Now you can do just that.
Analytics Pro allows you to check your statistics on the go and includes many features such as:
Multiple charts and data for all metrics
Print reports directly to a printer over a wireless network with AirPrint
Multiple accounts and profiles.
Export data in TXT or PDF format
Much more!
Sadly, Analytics Pro isn’t free but at a price of $ 5.99 it’s a steel if you’re an Analytics junkie then its money well spent!
Conclusion:
I know what you are going to say, what about this app? or why didn’t you mention this app?
