Why you really should enable Top Commentators Plugin

Why you really should enable Top Commentators Plugin:

As you continue to write original content your blog should be fine, but is it enough?

A blog without comments, dialogues or discussions is a dead blog, despite the ton of visits it can receive. Remember that blogging is a two-way communication, so you need to focus not only on the content but also on connecting with your readers, building that conversation among your blog readers.

As this week I enabled the Top Commenters plugin, I thought it would be nice to post an article explaining why you should download and install the plugin as well.

You are probably thinking that the only obvious reason is for increasing comments, but there are a few more details that make this plugin very necessary.

Why you should enable the Top Commentators plugin

Bad news first: you will have to spend more time monitoring your comments because there is no doubt that your spam bin will grow faster than before.

But I can tell you that it is totally worth it.

For those who don’t know, the top commentator plugin will display – upon activation – a list of your blog’s top commentators, in the widget area, with a dofollow link to the commenter’s homepage. So, knowing that you can set any anchor text you want, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to realize this is a great opportunity.

Now let’s check the reasons.

Reason 1- More comments

Yes, there is always one obvious reason that doesn’t even need to be mentioned, and this is it.

Your feedback will increase, that’s a guarantee.

Reason 2 – More reputation

Despite what people say, this quality ALWAYS trumps quantity, sometimes it doesn’t work that way, and with feedback it doesn’t.

Just like your Twitter follower counter, the more you have, the better impression you will have. It will make you look like a powerful guy / girl in your field, a famous blogger, and it’s something you can’t buy, you have to get it that way.

I wrote at the start of this post that one of the signs of a dead blog is lack of comments as it shows lack of communication, shows something essential is missing, so this plugin will make a great one work for you because it will motivate readers to drop comments to take advantage of the follow link you provide.

Reason 3 – More and better communication with readers

You’ll love to interact more with your readers.

1) Better image, you will look like an image-conscious blogger and a great blogger.

2) You will get ideas to post on, which is one of the great benefits of the community. Discussions allow you to jump from one topic to another in a matter of minutes, which is sure to give you some ideas to blog about.

Reason 4 – Free backlinks

Getting free backlinks just by activating this plugin sounds crazy, doesn’t it? Well, in fact, there are bloggers who post compilations from blogs that have the plugin enabled.

As you can see, you will also get free backlinks! And more visits, of course.

Grab the plugin and start reaping its benefits by helping other bloggers as well.

More soon.

Thanks for reading.
